Igor Florian	1306f6b30f	Store the Contract code in the Address ... Includes a new column in Addresses table to store the Contract bytecode. Having this code means that an Adress is a contract. We're gathering the attributes (`created_contract_code` and `created_contract_address_hash`) that represent a Contract creation in the Address fetching (during the indexing) so an Address can be created in the database with them.	7 years ago

All Addresses that are created during the block indexing are collected from previously Blocks, Transactions, InternalTransactions and Logs fetched data. The Address data was built upon that in the Chain context after running all the other entities validations and casting, which was its major concern/responsability. We've moved this Address data fetching out of the Chain context, giving this responsability to the BlockFetcher (as it occurs with the other entity). The Postgres docs and various blog posts advise that taking locks (either implicit, such as with ShareLock, or explicitly, which we're not doing) needs to be done in a consistent order to avoid deadlocks that we're seeing. Since the ShareLock is implicit on the rows we're inserting, the only way to do consistent lock taking is to order those inserts, so for all `insert_*` functions, sort the `changes_list`, so that it is consist and importantly between `insert_addresses` and `update_balances`, use the same ordering for Addresses. This eliminates the need to serialize writes, so BlockImporter is removed.	7 years ago
