Luke Imhoff	3432fe4c51	Disable logging debug_count at regular intervals ... Fixes #422 BlockFetcher's debug_count support used the slow `Explorer.Chain.*_count` functions. We want those counts to be completely accurate when needed, so we can't move to the `Explorer.Chain.*_estimated_count`. Since, the current, accurate counts are slowing down the indexing by causing a timeout to have to be handled, completely remove the debug count support and have developers call the `Explorer.Chain.*_count` when they need them to monitor progress.	6 years ago

Lucas Narciso	537f090597	Create Explorer.SmartContract.Reader ... This new module is the main entry point for getting results of a smart contract function. It accepts a smart contract hash and a list of functions names and its arguments (when applicable) in order to execute those functions and return their results. Before actually making the call to the blockchain, the function name is encrypted and the arguments are encoded. The EthereumJSONRPC deals with this, encrypting the name of the function using the Keccak256 algorithm and encoding the arguments based on their type. The call to the blockchain is also made by EthereumJSONRPC. The result is then decoded - as it comes in the same type of encoding that has been sent - by the EthereumJSONRPC lib as well, and returned. The return is a list of results of calling the functions in the blockchain. Note that each function may return more than one result, so for each functions there is a list of results.	6 years ago

Lucas Narciso	8a8f2bb20b	Add the ABI lib to handle encoding and decoding ... This lib makes it easy to handle multiple types of arguments and it also deals with all the Keccak256 cryptography. The need to handle multiple types of arguments comes from the Ethereum Virtual Machine, that expects those values in a particular way. Also, the functions' names should also be written in a particular way using the Keccak256 algorithm.	6 years ago

Support for optional parameters will be added in an upcoming PR. * Issue link: https://github.com/poanetwork/poa-explorer/issues/138 This change addresses the need by: * Adding `Explorer.Etherscan` context, where we want to keep etherscan-only logic within the Explorer app. This is because we want to mimic the way their RPC API works. The only function in this module for now is `list_transactions/1`, which gets all transactions for a given address hash. * Adding `txlist/2` action to `API.RPC.AddressController`, to handle account transactions requests. Sobelow was throwing an error because we are no longer calling :put_secure_browser_headers in router.ex, however, we have wrapped it with ExplorerWeb.CSPHeader and are still calling it. In the process it became apparent that having Config.CSRF in the ignore list wasn't actually doing anything so it has been removed.	6 years ago

Under the assumption that gateway timeouts occur because it is taking too long for Sokol nodes to respond to batch requests, 504 Gateway Timeout should be treated the same as 413 Request Entity Too Large: the batch should be split in half and retried. If we still get 504 Gateway Timeouts after this change, we'll need to add a delay before retry.	6 years ago

We either use Sequence with a fixed set of ranges in finite mode when getting the missing blocks down to genesis or in infinite mode when using it for the realtime index. We can't completely separate the support for queuing ranges for the realtime index as that handles retries, but we can simplify the validation considerably by disallowing ranges and first to `start_link`.	6 years ago
