The form used for creating a vault on the "Import" page of onboarding
and on the "Restore vault" page is nearly identical, yet the
implementation is totally separate. It has now been extracted to a
separate component, consolidating the two implementations.
There is a "terms of use" checkbox on the import page that isn't on the
restore vault page, so that part has been made optional. The "submit"
button text differs between the two uses as well, so that is
customizable.
There are slight styling differences between the old and new versions
of this form. The fonts and spacing are all using our new standard
design system guidelines, and we're using our standard checkbox now as
well. The spacing and font sizes were chosen somewhat arbitrarily by me
to resemble the old styles, so please feel free to suggest changes if
you think they can be improved upon.
There are some slight copy changes to the "Restore vault" page as well;
the placeholder text and the label for the "Secret Recovery Phrase"
field now matches the "Import" page copy.
* Clear the clipboard after the seed phrase is pasted
On the "Import" page of the import onboarding flow, we now clear the
clipboard after the secret recovery phrase is pasted. This ensures that
the SRP isn't accidentally pasted somewhere else by the user, which can
be an easy and disastrous mistake to make.
* Clear clipboard during new onboarding flow as well
The bug with our onboarding library integration was introduced in #8873
because of a change in when `completeOnboarding` was called. We hadn't
realized at the time that the onboarding integration relied upon the
onboarding completing event to know when the onboarding state should
be cleared. Because onboarding is now marked as completed earlier, the
state was cleared just as it was intended to be used.
The onboarding completed event has been moved back to where it was
before: after the user exits the "end of flow" page.
The original problem that #8873 was addressing was a routing issue,
where the user would be redirected back to the seed phrase confirmation
page despite already having confirmed their seed phrase. This was fixed
in a different way here, by updating the routing in the first time flow
switch to skip straight to the end of flow page if the seed phrase has
already been confirmed.
This does involve one user-facing change in behavior; if the user opens
any MetaMask UI before navigating away from the end-of-flow screen,
they will still be considered mid-onboarding so it'll redirect to the
end-of-flow screen. But we do mark onboarding as completed if the user
closes the tab/window while on the end of flow screen, which was
another goal of #8873.
This reverts commit 466ece4588, which has
the message:

This effectively re-introduces the changes from the "LoginPerSite" PR.
The user-specified seed phrase during the first-time-flow import step
required the phrase to be entered in all lowercase. The case does not
add any extra entropy to the seed, so there's no reason to be case
sensitive. Flexibility here will improve the onboarding UX.
This commit makes the entered seed phrase case-insensitive.

The notification window was updated to reject transactions upon close
in #6340. A handler that rejects the transaction was added to
`window.onbeforeunload`, and it was cleared in `actions.js` if it was
confirmed or rejected.
However, the `onbeforeunload` handler remained uncleared if the
transaction was resolved in another window. This results in the
transaction being rejected when the notification window closes, even
long after the transaction is submitted and confirmed. This has been
the cause of many problems with the Firefox e2e tests.
Instead the `onbeforeunload` handler is cleared in the
`componentWillUnmount` lifecycle function, alongside where it's set in
the first place. This ensures that it's correctly unset regardless
of how the transaction was resolved, and it better matches user
expectations.
* Fix indentation and remove redundant export
The `run-all.sh` Bash script now uses consistent indentation, and is
consistent about only re-exporting the Ganache arguments when they
change.
* Ensure transactions are completed before checking balance
Various intermittent e2e test failures appear to be caused by React
re-rendering the transaction list during the test, as the transaction
goes from pending to confirmed. To avoid this race condition, the
transaction is now explicitly looked for in the confirmed transaction
list in each of the tests using this pattern.

The initial 3Box sync will now timeout after 1 minute. If the timeout
is triggered, 3Box is disabled and cannot be re-enabled unless the
initial sync does finally finish. If it never finishes, 3Box cannot
be enabled unless the extension is reinstalled.
The Advanced Settings page was updated to show this option as disabled
in that circumstance, with a new discription explaining why it's
disabled. The UI here could certainly be improved.
Additionally, "on" and "off" labels were added to the toggle to match
the other toggles on the Advanced Settings page.
* Use non-minified 3Box module
We had previously used the minified 3Box module to avoid a build error
encountered when `envify` was processing the `libp2p` module (which is
used by 3Box). The build would fail because `esprima` (used by `envify`)
is incompatible with the object spread/rest operator (which is used in
`libp2p`).
That issue has been solved by adding a global Babelify transformation
specifically for transpiling out the object rest/spread operator from
dependencies. It has been targetted to only affect `libp2p` to avoid
extending the build time too much. This workaround can be used until
a new version of `esprima` is released that includes this bug fix.
