We need to have access to the original symbol so that the API v3 can post process the errors on the custom fields just like it does every other field. When only a string is provided, the symbol :unknown is stored which will lead to the API rendering error messages like "can't be blank" (without the erroneous field name).	9 years ago

Stefan Botzenhart	ab285e9e35	Remove custom String#write method which caused errors ... parallel_test gem uses Io#write method to distinguish between string or io input. Having this custom write method around broke the implementation thus testsuite exit with wrong state (false positive). Now using `concat` directly. See https://github.com/grosser/parallel_tests/blob/master/lib/parallel_tests/gherkin/io.rb#L8 for the respective code in parallel_test.	9 years ago
