Oliver Günther	05a54adced	Serialize column_names as arrays Currently, column_names on production systems are either 1. YAML-serialized Arrays of column names (duh) 2. An empty string '' 3. nil The two latter are invalid with Rails 5 and cause the following error: ``` NoMethodError (undefined method `map' for "":String): app/controllers/api/experimental/concerns/v3_naming.rb:70:in `json_query_as_v3' app/controllers/api/experimental/work_packages_controller.rb:85:in `query_as_json' app/controllers/api/experimental/work_packages_controller.rb:51:in `index' app/middleware/reset_current_user.rb:47:in `call' ``` This commit forces Array serialization and fixes previous queries with the empty values.	8 years ago

Jens Ulferts	693090136d	normalize permissions With rails 5 it is no longer possible to create an sql like statement via arel which will check whether a serialized array contains a string. AR will only allow to create a match against an array if the column itself is marked to serialize an array. Because of this and in order to increase the normalization of the data, the permissions are no longer serialized and are moved into a separate table instead. While this is still not normalized, it satisfies the needs	8 years ago

Oliver Günther	fff21a1229	UserPasswords: Replace salted SHA-1 with bcrypt This adds a typed userpassword class for Bcrypt password hashes that replace the previous default of salted SHA1. It still provides a class for SHA1 passwords, however new passwords of that type may no longer be created directly, and passwords are checked whether to upgrade them on every login.	8 years ago

With slugs, that makes no sense. We swap the name and title usage so that: 1. Name is used for the wiki_page slug that is being linked to 2. Title is used for the displayed name	8 years ago

Oliver Günther	9a34fe27c7	Migrate wiki titles to URL slugs Wiki titles in 6.0 can contain ANY character, which is causing issues for specific characters processed by textile and CGI-escaped before we can actually parse wiki links. To mitigate the issue of linking space/underscored wiki pages, introduce a permalink URL based on the title and create a migration to move old underscored titles (e.g., `base_de_donées` to spaced titles `base de donées`).	8 years ago
ulferts	eae5321c4e	Feature/latest project activity (#4390 ) The project table is extended to also have the "Latest activity at" column which shows the date of the latest write operation within the project. https://community.openproject.com/work_packages/22858 Models can register for being considered when the latests activity date is calculated. This mechanism can be and is used by core and can also be used by plugins. It is unfortunate, that the mechanisms already in place by acts_as_activity could not be reused, but it would have required a complete rework to make it happen. Another shortcoming of the current implementation are the sql strings generated within Project::Activity. It would have taken more time to rework them into Arel and as the improvable code is limited to one class and a clean interface separates it from the rest of the application I deem it ok to stay that way for now.	9 years ago

Oliver Günther	e38810f173	Remove hard syck dependency, make it optional instead This includes letting the YAML Syck to Psych migrations test whether actual data is being transformed. Some migrations still contain a legacy journal migration helper that MAY depend on Syck. When these migrations find serialized YAML, we're going to assume that it MIGHT be coming from Syck. Thus we add a `LegacyYamler` method that will dynamically require Syck and fail with an elaborate message if it hasn't been installed using the optional bundler group `bundle install --with syck`. On new installations, both these points are skipped as no data is retrieved from the queries. This commit should effectively provide Rails 2.2. compatibility	9 years ago

Oliver Günther	a71ce6f1a5	Refactor SCM config to lowercase / symbols ENV-based configuration for various configs can only provide case-insensitive values for SCM configuration and thus is unable to properly configure, e.g., managed repositories. This refactoring relies on lowercase configuration and symbols to define SCM vendors, and camelizes them to the old notation (e.g., :git => 'Git') when using `Setting.enabled_scms` to remain compatible with previous installations.	9 years ago

Oliver Günther	75521f7465	Remove dangling changesets As the removed const requires us to delete filesystem repositories directly in SQL, we need to manually remove associated changesets that would otherwise remain broken in the database and may cause errors when trying to access them (e.g., throught the revisions API endpoint). This commit destroys all changesets of a filesystem repository before destroying the repository itself.	9 years ago

Oliver Günther	dc65e38e04	Circumvent Repository.where in FS adapter removal When migrating with an existing filesystem repository, the deletion request Rails.where(type: 'Repository::Filesystem').destroy_all will try and fail to load the actual repository subclass. This error is raised as: The single-table inheritance mechanism failed to locate the subclass: 'Repository::Filesystem'. This commit fixes this error by circumventing Rails using a raw SQL statement.	9 years ago

This commit (temporarily) removes the delayed creation and deletion of managed repositories for the sake of improvded error handling. After consultation with @ulferts, we suggest to improve the `Delayed::Job` pipeline to create means for identifying jobs (referenced ID) and to create a unified service to manage database AND filesystem access in a transactional manner. Also provides the following corrections: - Improve migration speed - Delete parent projects only by their identifier, not the managed root	9 years ago
Oliver Günther	1e8c873544	Remove filesystem adapter This commit removes the entire FileSystem repository and adapter. It rids all specs (core and legacy) of remaining uses of this adpater and replaces it with a temporary subversion repository, where necessary. We also need to remove remaining filesystem instances from the database, otherwise users will receive errors when accessing said repositories on the Frontend. This does not destroy any data on filesystem, but database information on the repositories (remarks) are lost.	9 years ago
