Previously, the copied work package would take over all attributes of the original work package, but the form was an empty create form, which results in only the default type and status being contained in the schema. Otherwise, especially in IE with their custom change handler for select boxes, it was possible to make a change, trigger saving and while saving takes place, change another attribute and change that. Only the first change would work while the second would fail because of optimistic locking.	8 years ago

This changes the disabled default option for required select fields to select that by default and disable it. This causes a required field to have a default selection of Please select similar to the Rails selects. https://community.openproject.com/work_packages/23075/activity Angular doesn't seem to respect the string 'null' option correctly when removing an assigned field.
