Oliver Günther	f51fb68a1c	Do not pass empty values to smtp configuration (#4511 ) Even when specifying `SMTP_AUTHENTICATION=none`, SMTP doesn't really have such an authentication method. Instead, it looks for presence of `user_name` and `password` and when found, assumes an authentication method to be available. It then fails to find the auth method `none`. This is a regression of the configurable mail settings. With settings, default values are empty strings instead of nil values coming from missing or empty configuration / ENV variables. Checking the values for presence is sufficient to resolve the issue.	9 years ago

Oliver Günther	01e1141139	Use pre-generated error message from custom field Instead of generating a new error message when applying custom field errors on the customizable model, simply copy the already existing error message from the custom field, and save the symbol for later API processing. It allows to override the help link using the `configuration.yml`. If it is overriden, no dropdown is rendered, but only a single link.	9 years ago
ulferts	2c47657de7	unified date field for milestone work packages (#4437 ) Work packages having a type that is a milestone receive a 'date' attribute in their API resource. Other work packages still have the 'startDate'/'dueDate' attributes. The schema behaves analogous so that such a change is visible to a client. In the cient we can now remove some of the custom behaviour for the date field. The code removal is limited to the new inplace edit implementation as the old implementation can hopefully be removed fully in the near future.	9 years ago

Markus Kahl	cac89c8b27	dropped rfpdf to use prawn instead (#4388 ) Dropped the ancient, embedded rfpdf plugin for PDF generation. PDFs generated through that were corrupt and could not be processed by SharePoint for instance. The PDFs are now generated using prawn. May make an update of the openproject-pdf_export plugin necessary which uses an also ancient version of prawn itself (0.14, the current version being 2.1).	9 years ago
ulferts	eae5321c4e	Feature/latest project activity (#4390 ) The project table is extended to also have the "Latest activity at" column which shows the date of the latest write operation within the project. https://community.openproject.com/work_packages/22858 Models can register for being considered when the latests activity date is calculated. This mechanism can be and is used by core and can also be used by plugins. It is unfortunate, that the mechanisms already in place by acts_as_activity could not be reused, but it would have required a complete rework to make it happen. Another shortcoming of the current implementation are the sql strings generated within Project::Activity. It would have taken more time to rework them into Arel and as the improvable code is limited to one class and a clean interface separates it from the rest of the application I deem it ok to stay that way for now.	9 years ago
ulferts	4e6d880906	Fix/representer cache key (#4385 ) Moves the calculation for whether the WP schema representer has to be rerendered to the representer itself in the form of the cache_key method. This reduces coupling as the cache_key calculation is based on information the representer already has and the controller now no longer needs to know that information. It additionally uses the same calculation for the E-Tag to reduce duplication. In order to allow plugins to add to that cache_key, the acts_as_op_engine module is extended.	9 years ago

Oliver Günther	78dc9548f3	[Bugfix] Work package grouping header (#4360 ) * Refactor how table grouping is applied and refreshed Currently, changes to groupBy causes the work package to be immediately refreshed before the actual groups are collected from the backend. This watch has been removed, since its unneeded. The work package table is now tracked by the row id and the current group, which causes the ng-repeat to re-evaluate when the group changes, thus fixing the group header bug. Additionally, we now carry the groupByColumn in the wpTableService, where the other grouping values are derived as well. * Allow nil aggregation group This should fix https://community.openproject.com/work_packages/22816/activity * Hide empty group header when groupName not defined This avoids showing an empty header for inline create row. Also forces the create button to disappear when the table is explictly refreshed (e.g., when grouping on another attribute).	9 years ago

Frontend tests are implemented in karma and test single units of work as before. Since the freshness of APIv3 JSON mocks are getting ouf hand and we have covered almost all E2E protractor tests with Rails, we're going to resort to Rails to write concise actual integration test with correct data.	9 years ago
