Jens Ulferts	2293c3735b	less magic on default query columns ... Use the columns defined to be default for a new query as a default for a new query upon initialization. A caller can chose to overwrite this. This prevents the columns from getting readded when no column is selected. It also allows to improve the performance of the work_packages#index call because an SQL query with less columns is considerably faster.	9 years ago

Jens Ulferts	b2551f92e2	enable Rack::Deflater ... Rack::Deflater will compress every response served by the Rack stack if the appropriate ACCEPT_ENCODING header is set (e.g. HTML, JSON, ...). Assets would be compressed too if they would be served by the application directly. As the ACCEPT_ENCODING header suggests compressing (e.g. "gzip, deflate") by default on all browsers I looked into, there is nothing to do on the client side of the application. Validation for max/minLength on integer custom fields had to be performed on the API, even though the work package schema allows the frontend to do that on its own. This adds a simple additional field to let the input body of mails be delimited by a regex provided by the user, since all other delimiters are escaped before being used by regex. Since we don't want to force existing user of the feature to change their settings, simply removing the regex escape is not a viable option.	9 years ago

Lots of toolbars use the notation `<Foobar> >> <Subitem>`, which did not have a helper yet and requires manually calling html_safe all over the place. With OpenProject 5.0, we moved to Open3 pseudo-shell, which no longer requires escaping seperate arguments (unless the whole command is passed as a single string, which will result in an actual shell that would require escaping). The `shell_quote` functionality was still used though and causes issues with remote subversion passwords, which will be improperly escaped.	9 years ago
